City Lights

All over India, you will find people decorating their homes and offices with colourful lights. But in Jaipur, entire bazaars are illuminated for five consecutive days. A unique collective effort, it is THE reason to be in Jaipur during Deepawali. Even the Government contributes, by picking up the electricity bill.

There are prizes for the best decorated markets, commercial complexes, private buildings, gates....
